ORDERING POLICY
Thank you for choosing Butani for your fine jewellery purchase. Every Butani Jewellery piece is truly special – an exquisite creation made to order for you in our workshop.
Shopping on butani.com is simple and secure. After selecting your item, you can move it to your Shopping Bag by clicking on the “Add to Cart” button. Follow the instructions during the checkout process to complete your order. At the end of the checkout process, we will ask for your credit card details, after which your order will be confirmed.
Your order confirmation, delivery notification and invoice will be sent via email to the address provided during checkout. Once an order has been accepted by Butani, it cannot be canceled or modified.
All prices shown on butani.com are in U.S. Dollars. Butani reserves the right to modify prices and delivery costs at any time without prior notice.
We may cancel orders and process refunds due to any pricing errors.
If any unforeseen issues arise with your order, we will contact you directly for resolution.
ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT
The current payment methods accepted for online purchases are Visa, Mastercard and American Express. If payment is not accepted online, please contact your bank for approval or select an alternative form of payment.
Please note, your billing address, phone number and email must match the information on your credit card statement. Full payment is due before any order is processed. Only 1 form of payment is accepted per order; multiple payment methods will not be processed.
PACKAGING & GIFT BOXES
All Butani purchases are dispatched in a signature Butani jewel box, embossed with the maison’s logo and finished inside with a soft suedette lining to cushion and protect your jewel. In addition to a luxurious gift box, every purchase is packaged in a Butani shopping bag, finished in the maison’s colours of royal blue and metallic gold and tied with a coordinating grosgrain ribbon to elevate your gift-giving experience.
Each gift box also includes a Butani Certificate of Authenticity to accompany your jewel.
If you wish to enclose a personalised gift note with your purchase, Butani gives you the option to include this upon checkout.
At Butani, we offer an engraving service to personalise your jewellery with a short message, name, initials or memorable date. Please click here for further information.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
We offer free shipping to addresses within Hong Kong, Qatar, Singapore, UAE, UK and USA. For other locations, we offer flat rate shipping at $70.
Your Butani order will ship in 3-6 weeks. However, should you require the piece sooner, please get in touch with us at customercare@butani.com before placing your order.
After your item is shipped, packages are received within 2-5 business days. Once you place your order, you will receive the tracking number upon shipment.
DUTY & TAX – INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Duty, customs tariffs and VAT are set by the local government. The amount of applicable duty, tariffs and taxes will vary and be determined upon our acceptance and confirmation of your order. The purchaser is responsible for paying all applicable duties and taxes related to each item purchased.
ORDER DELIVERY
All orders require a signature upon delivery. Additional charges may accrue if more than 1 delivery attempt is made. Butani does not ship to Post Office Boxes. Deliveries will only occur on Monday through Friday. Orders will not be shipped or delivered on National Holidays. Delays in shipping are not the responsibility of Butani.
RETURN & EXCHANGES
At Butani, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you receive your order and are not satisfied, we will gladly accept items for exchange or store credit within 7 days of receipt of purchase.
Items for exchange will be inspected before they are accepted. Exchanges and store credits will be processed for accepted items, excluding original shipping fees and taxes. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
Please note that items must be returned in a new and unused state, in original condition, with all protective materials in place and tags and stickers attached to them (if applicable), and with the original Butani box and delivery package, including all accessories and documents. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange if the product shows signs of wear or has been used or altered from its original condition in any way. All personalised jewellery is Final Sale and non-returnable.
Exchanges and store credits will not be permitted after 7 days of receipt of purchase. Butani does not offer any refunds on returned items and only permits exchanges or store credit for use on butani.com, which is valid for 12 months from the time of your initial purchase.
To exchange an item purchased on butani.com, please email us at customercare@butani.com within 7 days of receipt. When we have received a request from you, we will provide you with instructions on how to exchange your item.
CUSTOM ORDERS
While not all Butani pieces are customisable, we are happy to work with you to accommodate your request for a custom order. You may place a special order by filling out the custom order form on the website. Made to order pieces will take 4-6 weeks to ship. Orders will not be produced until full payment is made. Please note engraved or embossed and custom orders are Final Sale and cannot be returned for exchange or store credit.
